Have you noticed that little graphic symbol to the left of each nick in our comment section? That little thing is called an Icon. Each icon is based on a 3x3 grid and I think they are so cute.

I am creating PDF patterns of our icons so we can make 9" EPP blocks of them.
Needed: For this workshop you will need heavy weight paper or card stock. Both are available at your local office supply store. You can even use freezer paper if you wish.
Schedule
A new block every other week.
Instructions:
Make a visit to your local office supply store to get your choice of paper stock to print on. You can use heavy weight paper or cardstock. You can even use freezer paper. You may be able to find freezer paper at your local quilt shop or in the foil section of your grocery store. My preference is 67 lb cardstock from OfficeMax.
Print the PDF twice on the paper stock of your choice. Carefully cut out the pieces for the block. Please note: You will have two (2) center square blocks and you only need to cut out one of them. Baste fabric around the pieces for EPP. Whipstitch your basted pieces together to make the block. The print out provides simple instructions on how to assemble the block.
Important: When basting your paper pieces, make sure any the smiley graphics are facing towards the fabric.
